SiriusXM is a satellite radio broadcast company.

The Problem

A important part of SiriusXM marketing model is to encourage auto dealers to get their customers to subscribe to SiriusXM premium service at the time of their automobile purchase. Part of the program includes each sales and service rep at automobile dealers throughout the USA to receive a SiriusXM marketing package.

The Solution

SiriusXM engaged Inkwell Global Marketing to discuss a solution. Inkwell suggested the idea of giving each sales rep a SiriusXM flip-style desktop calendar to help promote the brand. The calendar remains on the sales representative’s desk throughout the year. The clever two-sided graphics are designed to have monthly ‘Dealer Tips’ facing the sales rep, while outward facing the customer are highlights of SiriusXM’s featured channels and celebrities. This calendar displays the benefits of SiriusXM and has a large constant reminder to ‘Ask about your trial subscription.’

Inkwell produces the calendar and distributes to over 40,000 auto dealers and sales reps each year. With the colorful graphics and photos of popular musicians and radio hosts, the calendar is well received each year and assists in generating thousands of loyal subscriptions for SiriusXM at the auto dealership.
