6 Swag Kit Items College Kids Will Wear on Spring Break

Swag bags for college kids are the equivalent of treat bags for little kids. Think back to when you were young and you would receive a goodie bag filled with unexpected prizes like stickers and temporary tattoos. It didn’t matter what was in the bag, the fun came simply from digging through and finding awesome trinkets and toys.

Everyone loves receiving swag bags, but college kids take the fun to a new level. Most are living off the little bit of money they have from their allowance or part-time job, so they’re happy to have anything…well, almost anything.

Below we share six awesome swag kit items that college kids will love to wear on spring break.

        1-Branded Hoodies

It may sound ordinary, but don’t underestimate what a branded t-shirt or hoodie can do for your brand. College kids look for comfort, so choose a comfortable and well-made clothing brand such as Under Armour. Sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, and zip-ups are most popular because college kids can slip them over a t-shirt and look put together for class.

        2-Baseball Caps

Knowing that college kids will be spending more time outdoors, give them a stylish baseball cap to keep the sun out of their eyes – and cover up their bed head. Branded baseball caps give your brand plenty of visibility, and you can have them made in your brand’s colors. Be sure to choose a style that your young audience will want to wear, such as 5-panel hats, fitted hats, and strap backs.

        3-Custom Sunglasses

Sunglasses are useful; we could all use a few extra pairs! On your end, branded sunglasses are inexpensive and easy to pack into a swag bag. Choose shades in your brand colors or opt for something unique, such as color changing sunglasses, pinhole sunglasses, or foldable sunglasses. Consider your audience and the style of shades they want such as aviators, waves, flat tops, etc.

        4-Pedometer

College kids are used to tracking their activity using apps and tracking devices. Fitbits are highly popular, but they are expensive. A great alternative, especially for college kids who are traveling for spring break, is a promotional pedometer. Choose the band color and tuck this inside a swag box with other related items, such as a water bottle, towel, and a drawstring bag.

        5-Bug Repellent Bands

Some college kids travel to unique destinations over their spring break where pests like mosquitoes are prevalent. Give them something they probably aren’t thinking of – a bug repellent band. These bands are worn on the wrist and naturally repel mosquitoes and other pests. Other items to include in this type of swag bag are a Frisbee, beach ball, and bug repellent wipes.

        6-Sunscreen & Lip Balm

Spending time in the sun calls for the proper protection, something that most college kids aren’t thinking about until it’s too late. A popular item for SwagPacks™ are sunscreen bottles or sprays attached to a carabiner. These items can be hung on any bag or backpack for easy access. They can also be made with a clip balm attached.

Spring break is almost here – connect with your college audience and give them unique SwagPacks™ items that they won’t have any problem wearing! Just imagine the places your brand can go!
