Avaya collaborates with channel partners to bring business’s an expertise to recommend and deliver the most effective communication solutions. However, sometimes educating partners about Avaya’s full list of services and solutions provided challenging.

To help recognize, promote and educate their channel partners, Inkwell provides a variety of products and services designed to help Avaya channel partners reach more customers with Avaya products and systems.

Partners are given incentives to sell more Avaya products. Incentives include awards, signage, banners and promotional merchandise and collateral materials.

Avaya Partners receive co-op marketing funds, which they use to purchase co-branded merchandise including logo’d apparel, printed materials, promotional products trade show give-a-ways and mailings. Merchandise is designed for the partners to promote themselves at trade shows and other events. Inkwell developed and manages an e-commerce site for partners to purchase these materials using their co-op funds.

In addition, partners achieve and maintain three status levels. Silver Partners, Gold Partners and Platinum partners. When partner achieves a level of status, they receive a partner kit, which identifies the partner as a gold, silver platinum partner. Kits include an award and large banner to display at their place of business as well as other collateral materials and status gifts for the partner to use to identify themselves as an educated and qualified Avaya partner.

Previously with each department purchasing from different suppliers their were frequent complaints of inconsistent product quality, poor logo reproduction, high prices, unsafe products and an inefficient ordering and payment process.

In an effort to leverage their overall promotional products spend, streamline the purchasing process and standardize their brand , NYU contracted Inkwell Global Marketing to develop a comprehensive branded products program including an online ordering platform that was easy to use and integrated with NYU’s SCIQUEST based procurement platform.

Inkwell designed the merchandise collection and built an easy to use ordering e-store. The e-store is fully integrated with NYU systems and enables NYU finance and procurement personnel to monitor and measure all promotional product activity and expenses. Included with the Integration to Sci-quest, Inkwell initiated EDS ordering and invoicing. The entire purchasing process is now 100% paperless, with simplified functionality.

To support this e-store, Inkwell appointed an account management team to work hand and hand with NYU buyers. Our team works closely with the buyers to make the purchasing process simple and fast. Our team conduct webinars, email campaigns and frequent face to face meetings with key stakeholders.

As a result of the partnership, NYU has recognized significant cost savings due to lower prices, improved efficiency and tighter process.

Buyers now have access to a team of product experts, graphic designers and marketing experts to discuss their project, request samples and provide assistance with reproducing the NYU logos and brands. This be-spoke program encompasses the entire University network and is an invaluable tool used daily covering a wide range of needs.

When ADP made the decision to change their branding, they wanted to communicate this big shift in their brand in an effective way to the company.

ADP engaged Inkwell Global Marketing to assist in communicating this change internally to their organization worldwide in the most efficient and engaging way.

Inkwell worked closely with ADP marketing and communications specialists to select products that would have the highest impact and most visibility, while also complimenting the new branding in a manner consistent with ADP’s corporate culture and image.

Items included ceiling banners, wall graphics, free standing banners, desktop pop-ups, mouse pads, writing instruments and other items designed to communicate and constantly reinforce the Company’s new mission statement to all employees worldwide.

The message was essential and in utilizing strategic branded merchandise, it proved the most effective medium to communicate and reinforce this new brand on a long term basis.

The project called for 60,000 employees in 390 offices and 3600+ home offices spread out over 40 countries to receive a package containing desktop promotional and collateral materials revealing the new brand and mission statement. ADP requested that every employee receive the package on the same day.

Challenges included: Printing identical brand guidelines in multiple languages, on several different items made of a variety material. Producing & kitting 60,000 packages in limited time frame, and shipping to 40 countries.

Merchandise was received by everyone on the same day the new logo and website were launched. The promotional items used are visible throughout all of the locations as a constant reminder.
